When it comes to skincare products, you can easily end up spending a fortune on the “must haves” recommended by beauty bloggers, influencers, and friends and end up using almost none of them. Build your skincare routine easily by choosing a quality product for each essential step. By making a conscious decision to add extras, you know where to put them and what to expect from them. Presently we should investigate these fundamental stages.
Clean with oil and then wash
A regular wash isn’t enough, especially if you’re wearing makeup, so start with a natural oil-based cleanser. Rice cleaning oil is an excellent option. When you use it, it penetrates your pores and pulls out all that pore-clogging whistling that would otherwise ruin your skin. Choose a gentle facial cleanser and remember not to scrub too hard, especially if you use one with exfoliating beads or an exfoliating sponge. Rinse with warm water to open pores. When your skin is completely clean of impurities, you can proceed to the next step.
Get in Shape
Even tap water can upset skin’s natural pH balance, so the next step in your routine is to use a refreshing toner to prep your skin for the final step of your nighttime routine. Pat skin dry (do not rub) with a clean, soft cloth or towel and apply toner. Just spray some on your hands and pat in. If you prefer to use cotton, use a tapping motion. Remember that your skin is already as clean as it can be.
Hydrate
You’re nearing the end of your routine when you reach for your moisturizer. Night creams are richer than day creams and are designed to nourish your skin while you sleep, so getting a night cream and a day cream is a top priority. Apply the cream to your face before blending it into your skin. Avoid the eye area as a regular moisturizer can irritate the eyes. Choose an eye contour specially formulated for that area and apply it gently.
Morning Routine
After your restful sleep, it’s time to pamper your skin again. Regular washing should be enough for the cleaning step. Now it’s time for toners and a lighter, less greasy day cream. If possible, give your skin five minutes to a half hour to absorb the moisturizer before applying makeup. Half an hour is ideal.
Additional features
There are literally hundreds of extras for skin care. Choose yours wisely. I like to use a different moisturizer for my neck and décolletage in the morning and at night and a natural mask in between. However, these are optional extras. One thing to take seriously is sunscreen, especially if you spend a lot of time outdoors. garden hobby? Watersports? Sunscreen is your friend! As for the rest, you might have a few favorites, so feel free to incorporate them into your beauty routine.
How to choose skin products
It’s worth researching the different ingredients in skin care products to see what they should do. Don’t just take the manufacturer’s word for it! If you have sensitive skin, look for fragrance-free, hypoallergenic products that are gentle on your skin. You should also keep in mind that older women have drier skin and different skincare needs than younger women, so choose products that are age-appropriate for your skin.
Your regular skincare routine will help keep your skin in better condition, and your cleansing routine will help you avoid those nasty pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads we all hate. A touch of makeup is totally optional, your natural skin glowing with health is your best asset!
