Was your decision to get a tattoo a bad decision? Well, you’re not alone on this ship. Fortunately, numerous strategies have been created over the long haul to assist you with effectively ripping off your extremely permanent tattoo. Yes, you’ve read correctly. So, this article will introduce you to different methods you can use to remove your tattoos.

Ways to remove permanent tattoo

Lasers

The first treatment that comes to mind is laser surgery. Lasers are commonly known and viewed as the most ideal way to dispose of a permanent tattoo. Most tattoos are removed with an agent

Q-Switched Lasers: There are three types i.e. ND: Yag, Ruby, and Alexandrite. Each of them targets a specific area of the color spectrum. For example, Nd: Yag targets gray, black, dark blue, red, yellow, and orange. While Ruby effortlessly removes black and blue pigments. And Alejandra removes green, black, and blue.

Effectiveness: The effectiveness of laser treatment depends on the complexity, color, age, and size of the tattoo. Some tattoos are easy to remove, while others are not. Therefore, we cannot say that the Q-Switch laser is fully effective, but it does lighten the tattoo and make it less noticeable.

Pico laser

Here is another laser surgery that works wonders, namely Pico Laser. Pico Laser is more compelling and eliminates tattoos effectively and securely. Because it is a non-surgical and non-intrusive laser treatment for the skin. The high specification of this technology helps increase the rate at which tattoo pigments break down, resulting in fewer treatments needed to achieve the desired results.

Effectiveness – Unlike Q-Switch, they do not selectively attack pigments and are very effective when it comes to tattoo fading. Although they are also faster than the previous one.

Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery, as the name suggests, makes people cry. I’m just joking. Cryosurgery is typically used to treat skin cancer. However, this treatment is now also used for tattoo removal. Although it is one of the most effective tattoo removal methods, it is extremely painful. Therefore, the operated part is anesthetized so you do not feel any pain.

This technique is less expensive than laser however not successful for yellow or green shades. Also, there is a high possibility of damaging not only the tattooed area but also the skin cells. This method is therefore not recommended for people with skin problems or sensitive skin.

Surgical excision

Surgical excision is another common method of tattoo removal. This method works best for small tattoos. This process starts with numbing the tattooed part, cutting the skin, and stitching it back together. The excision surgery can be performed in a single session or stage depending on the size and location of the tattoo.

Also, it works perfectly without leaving a faded design. However, it leaves a scar due to the stitches you left for life. It also takes time to heal.

Intense pulsed light method

The Intense Pulsed Light method uses a broader spectrum of light that removes the top layer of skin. Consequently, they break down the tattoo pigments into smaller ones absorbed into the bloodstream. The affected area heals over time through skin regeneration. Still, it is not recommended for dark people as their skin is likely to suffer a color loss due to hypopigmentation. This strategy is likewise helpful for huge tattoos as it radiates enormous beats of light.

Dermabrasion

The dermabrasion method involves a grinder that removes the layer of skin to remove the ink stain. During this session, the area will be numbed, the operated area will be numbed to relieve pain. You should skip this method if you have sensitive skin or suffer from skin problems. Dark-skinned people should avoid it as there is a high chance of color loss.

Chemical peels

The synthetic strip strategy utilizes a compound arrangement called trichloroacetic corrosive (TCA), a gentle corrosive used to peel the external layer of skin and eliminate tattoo ink. This method is usually somewhat painful and does not require anesthesia.

In this process, TCA essentially removes the top layers of skin and can reach the deep layers of skin where the tattoo ink resides. As soon as the TCA comes into contact with the skin, the skin begins to peel off. When this happens, the skin begins to produce new skin as a defense. As a result, the tattoo fades or is removed.

Tattoo Removal Creams

Tattoo removal creams are one of the safest methods that can be used to remove tattoos. You can use Profade 3 Step Action, Tat B Gone, and other brand name creams to safely remove tattoos. However, these tattoo removal creams take a long time as tattoos fade over time.
